About Dr. Gulosh
Melissa L. Gulosh, DPM, of Virginia Foot & Anke Associates in Charlottesville and Culpeper, Virginia, is a native of Edgewater, Maryland. She has been trained in all aspects of forefoot, midfoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery. Dr. Gulosh has undergone Fellowship training in reconstructive surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, plastic surgery, total ankle joint replacement surgery, external fixation, and limb deformity correction. Her practice encompasses all aspects of foot and ankle care for pediatrics and adults ranging from simple to complex deformity management, medical and surgical intervention of traumatic injuries, microsurgical procedures, preventive and interventional management of diabetic foot, ankle and leg complications.

Interesting Facts
Dr. Gulosh grew up in Maryland on the Chesapeake Bay as a fisherman's daughter. She enjoyed crabbing and fishing during her summer breaks. She played Division 1 lacrosse for George Mason University between 2003 and 2007, and before moving to Virginia she coached high school girls lacrosse in Northeast Ohio. She enjoys adventure fitness, working with the Special Olympics, and pottery.
